It is at its very best though, with hors-d’oeuvres, cooked and raw cold cuts, pasta, soup, white meats and medium mature cheeses. Medium-bowled glasses bring out its youthful characteristics at their best. A bright, intense colour showing ruby and violet shades; an exuberant, fruity nose reminiscent of marasca cherries and plums; and a dry, firm taste with a powerful body softening into a delicate bitter almond aftertaste. Drinking/Longevity 6/7 years Recommended Storage Into the box at 12/18° |
